The Detroit Pistons have proven to be a force to be reckoned with this NBA season. As the team gears up for its first playoff appearance in six years, the Pistons have received the highest acknowledgment from one of the NBA's greatest players.

During a recent interview on NBA TV, Pistons legend Isiah Thomas shared his thoughts about this year's team. He congratulated the Pistons for establishing solidarity and finding its team identity.

"They back. They found the culture. They found their identity. They bad boys," Thomas said. "They playing hard, defense, love it."

Thomas spent his entire NBA career in Detroit, where he led the "Bad Boys" to championships in 1989 and 1990.

With only a few weeks remaining in the season, Detroit is eyeing a top-four seed in the Eastern Conference. The Pistons are now 42-33 and fifth in the Eastern Conference following a loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday, March 30. The final score was 123-104.
